To rationalize is human. A pressure-switch to protect us.

But standing on the rocky cliff, surf below, toes curled over craggy stone, that is a different picture. Yes or no.

The fears of the" what ifs" or the "oh no's" can flood over us as a kind of reality but that is an imagined and manufactured truth. My truth is here. Here, in me. Like yours.

The idea that a family like mine is living in rubble. Looking for water. Torn apart. x 1,000,000.

1,000,000 mothers and fathers crying out for their children.

The why does not matter. We can be the who and this can be the where. Please help.
